Description


Still inside the spectacular Calatrava pavilion, this time looking west. Through the doorways is the entrance shown in earlier images. Above you can see the spine that holds the wings aloft. The wings are visible as the horizontal lines outside the windows.

David, I love this photo. I have just saved it to my folder of special images. ; ) Light and shadows playing upon a surface have appealed to me since I was very little, so I am biased when I say I adore the lighting on the floor. But then the eye is swept up into the graceful flow of the ceiling, which is beautifully enhanced by the almost icy light peering though. Thank you for sharing.
