I am married with children haha "24 years" I love to take pictures and write poetry. but as much as I love to take pictures my real passion is my poetry. I hope to someday write a 1,000 poems. I am at about 400 so I got a ways to go. I love RR. it is a great place to meet and make artist friends. besides all of that I lead a pretty boaring life haha. I hope to someday take up Poser but I am not very patient so I don't know when I will start that. It seems to me like it would take a lot of patients. That is pretty much all there is to me.

Thank God I have never been in war and I really can't speak for anyone who has. I just remember when I was a young man how much I thought it would be cool to be in war and kill people. Now that I am getting old I realize theres no honor in death but there is honor in life.

I've lived through the tail end of a war. It's been over 30 years and most of the horrors I've seen have faded. But I realize that due in part to the passage of time and too much media exposure I've become desensitize to the current "war" going on in the world. Is it just me?

Excellent written work! (I am of the Vietnam War era. I heard an announcement on the school homeroom p.a. saying my next door neighbor/friend who was two years older, had died in Vietnam. Many of my age friends came back from that war sounding exactly like your piece above. Or, much worse. One committed suicide). Keep writing. My best, T.P.

There's no honour in killing someone either - whether that person was a terrorist or a law abiding citizen... Making war might be tough on the ones making war, but it's worse for the loved ones left behind... Well done on a masterpiece.

Ah Randy, this is very well spoken! Thankfully, I have also never had close contact with war. This is beautifully written.
