Description
"But the Queen said nothing, went into the bedroom, took off all the bedding and laid a pea on the bottom of the bed. Then she took twenty mattresses and laid them on the pea, and then twenty featherbeds of eiderdown on top of the mattresses.
That was where the princess was to sleep for the night. In the morning she was asked how she slept.
"Oh horribly!" she said. "I hardly closed my eyes all night. Goodness know what there was in the bed! I was lying on something hard, so that I am black and blue all over my body. It is horrible!"
"We" are still having fun with fairytales!
Daz; Luca's castle; mattress & feathebed textures by me...yes there are 20 of each..LOL!
Thanks in advance for you comments and laughs! Have a great week and sleep well tonight! See you next Tuesday!

New charming representation of an old favourite fairy tale... All is simply magnificent,Wendy! Princess on the mountain of mattresses is very touching. Illumination is wonderfully made. Such fairy tale is pleasant not only to children, but also adults.

I don't know where you find all these stories. I have never heard of the majority of them. Your idea in this one is really well done, the skyscraper of mattresses looks really good and the textures in the whole image are excellent. I really like, which tops off the entire image like icing on a cake, the silhouette of the adult in the doorway. Excellent work.

Excellent POV and composition. Great lighting. That spider on top of that beam is a fantastic touch. It's a good thing they have high roofs or she would have slept outside. 8-)
