please feel free to leave constructive criticism for any of my images; you don't have to limit yourself to praise -- i don't have a particularly thin skin, and am not posting for admiration. you can also IM me if you would like similar for your own work -- i am here to learn and share what i know.BIOi've been a programmer by trade for more than 3 decades, and our 2-person company specializes in high-end graphic work (add-ons for maya). my forays into art are relatively recent; i've always thought of myself as untalented in that realm. which appears not to be true, just that i am not the sort of artist to whom artistic expression comes naturally. i need to know techniques before ideas form sufficiently mature expressions. i've been terribly excited to figure that out, and am currently exploring all sorts of artistic endeavours to try and find those that speak to me most.
i came to poser indirectly -- i've been creating collages, and was frustrated with trying to find the right kind of stock photographs for the humans i wanted to incorporate. i had heard of poser, but when i last looked it was still in its infancy, and didn't get me excited about its possibilities. that has changed; i think poser 6 is fabulous, and it's now possible to create images barely distinguishable from photographs.
and, since i am a techie, of course i immediately got interested in creating content; it's fabulous to see such a thriving cottage industry. my first freebies are in the pipeline!
