How time takes off and leaves things behind. I started in the 90s with povray and other such programs. I moved up to other software, bryce 3d, and thought id jump into Lightwave, as it was the best at the time. Around 2008, life got crazy, and i stopped. Well, all the software has aged badly and I need to relearn all sorts of things now that i have the time. Hopefully soon ill be able to figure Blender out and start rendering again. its been too long.

well the mesh aint that detailed but i really love the background.. how do you do your nebulas? hypervoxels or something painted in photoshop and how do you get your stars to show up i always seem to lose mine on big images

Yea the mesh needs about 100,000 more polygons hehe. The nebula is simply a section of a HUGE sphere (5 Mm radius) with a fairly large photoshop image (multi layred/colored). The stars are 3 star spheres..(21,000 single point polys each) with multiple colors.
