Description

Hello all!! WAsn't sure to put this one up under landscape or animals. but to me its is more of a landscape cause when I shot it I was going for that grand big oak. LOL then this goose came along and stood up and flapped his wings right as I did this . With my little 7900 nikon pocket cam ,I don't have the ability to get the rapid shoot 9 frames per sec so when I click its just what comes along and happenes at that sec with my finger so I sorta feel kinda lucky to get a shot like this!! I thanked the goose even though he is not a friendly one haha. This goosey guy wasn't a Candian goose it was more of a local wild domestic ( if that makes sence ) .Taken at Frazier park on the way up to pine mountian last Sunday . There is a wild family of these birds that have been living there for 20 years. Before I shot this I was warned by the locals not to get to close because these birds are known to be VERY very mean and bite hard . AS I was told that I rememebered back to then my Annie was a toddler and was biten by one of the geese here. ( My firstborn of my three girls - Annie is 15 now, and still terrified of those kind of geese to this day lol!!). It looked to me almost if he was conducting a big symphony with his wings under that very old oak that stands so proudly there ( How I got the title ). Hmmm.., Strange thing occured today all of my Im's dissaperred. And I didn't delete them at all. And the whole IM thing dosnt seem to be working . So please, if you need to contact me please do so at my email CONTACT@KIMARIE.XOOM-ARTS.COM Thank you for your time and comments ! ((( BIg Hugs ))) love to you all!! ♥ Kimmers ! :O) !!

Great shot! Congrats on that bit of luck with the goose. All my best shots are almost always accidents. I like the composition of this one - the colors are great and the play of shadows on the ground all work out wonderfully.

You lucky duck Kim! This goose really came along and made this fantastic image extraordinary! I know what you mean about the click and hope - who has the equipment to do that 9 frames a sec. thing? Probably Joe (nattarious) but he has everything - LOL... seriously great luck and awesome work! +++

Lovely capture Kimmers! I hope his symphony did not lay an egg! ;) Give Annie a hug, but she don't need to be frighten of them now! When they go to attack, just come at them, grap them by the neck, and soon you'll be pettin' 'em! ;)

Awesome composition and great timing...my only problem is with the blueness of the water...Did you saturate the shot or is this natural? Other than the blue blue water, the reat of the shot is spectacular and you didn't have to ley down in the water or the mud...lol...Super work Kimmie

Wonderfully composed shot,Kimmie.I actually like the blue water Ray mentions...but then I like a bit of saturation myself. It makes things more painterly to me.Extra special is the light and shadows in this.Excellent work! And LOL about the IM's.I know...-M :^)
