Description

These are my red climbing roses growing along my back fence. They are a very antique rose and I don't know the original name. They have been beautiful up to this week but the rain has pounded them. The Good News is that I saw my Doctor today and the cancer has not spread to my bones YEAH! I am so tickled. I have compression fractures up and down my spine and 3 broken ribs. I am so tiny that is how fragile my bones are. I will have to have surgery to remove this nodule from my lung that is cancer, but can take that over being terminal any day *grin*. Thank you all for all your prayers and dedication. You are my family and my special dear friends that I hold close to my heart. Again, thank you and prayers are still appreciated for the surgery yet to come. I have yet to call the surgeon for an appointment to schedule the surgery right now I am much too happy. I Added frame and border. All postwork done in PSP9. All your views and comments are most appreciated. Hugs, Susan,

I forget who said "First thing in the morning, I read the obituaries. If I'm not in it, I know I'm going to have a good day." You keep having a long, long series of good days! And keep sharing nice images like this.

Such a beautiful rosey image Susan. So sad to hear about all your painful bone problems but I rejoice at the news that the cancer may be removable. Let your body mend girl! Got to knock off those mountain hikes, rock climbing and skydiving! Keep in touch and ready when you are. Hugs from Dave :^) V

It's not in your bones? That is absolutely the most wonderful news I've heard in awhile! I know those tiny fractures will heal real soon (as long as you don't overdue anything), and I have every confidence that your next surgery will go just fine. Regarding today's post, It is a lovely image, and that frame-edge works wonderfully for this presentation. Beautiful work Susan! Have a magnificent Friday! [Huge hug and a warm smile]

I am so very happy for you Susan to know your problem has not progressed. your roses are so beautiful. I like the roses from climbing but they can be a problem mowing the grass. as a kid we had a huge climbing rose and I would cut if off a ground level and it would still return each spring. they are more durable I believe
