Description

Here is Daru as the Sorceress. Too tired for description. Check back later for it and credits. Needless to say, a lot of work went into this one, so in the meantime, I hope you enjoy. :) Update: Ok, WHEW! This is an image that's been floating around in my head and tormenting me for the greater part of three weeks, ever since I found this clothing set. Even while I was making the last of the "Enjoy the Vue" series, this image was just there nagging in my mind for it to be made. Well, why did it take three weeks? Because I couldn't get what I had in my head onto the computer! Of course after poking and prodding and poses it has changed somewhat from what I originally intended, but I love this pose and it captures what I was going for from the beginning. Technical mumbo jumbo: This image has quite a bit of trickery in it. Daru, her platform, and the fire were rendered in Poser because I like the way that Poser lights human figures much, much better than Vue. I then put that render onto an alpha plane in Vue, and aligned the camera and lighting so they roughly matched that of the original Poser render. I then inserted grass and bushiness around the plane. The bloom effect on the fire comes from the lighting in Vue as well. This all took about 3 days to get down. Thank you for looking and for your comments! Hi Res will be made available to commenters! I'm glad to see that you're putting more work into backgrounds and scenery. There's always a balance to be made between devoting computing power to the human figure and/or to the scenery they're in. I'd say spliting up the render helped ya here in that regard. Also, you did an excellent job matching the lighting up. The glow on the plants in the foreground definately looks like it's coming from that glow ball of hers (wtf is a glow ball?). Anayways, excellent work!

A lovely picture, well Daru is lovely indeed :D. Have you think about making the same picture but in the Twi'lek version? I find you dual personalities of your characters fascinating.
