Description

First off, thank you Dennis! It worked, though it's obscured by grass...the tuft is on the tail!! And thanks to all of you, for your comments and suggestions! They really helped!! I have learned how to make grass using Photoshop brushes, very cool!! I still need some practice, but I liked how this turned out! ; )

Sweet it looks even better with the grasslands scene. That said, you know of course that now you need to animate a gently blowing breeze moving the grass :)

I hope there are no ticks in the long grass or is that, why he's breathing so heavy ? want some more work ? make the now tufted tail flick up & down in the grass ! and pygmies and some elephants...and, and that'll do for the moment ! well done & ~Cheers~ :o)

And a truck full of journalists making a documentary, complete with television crew. How do you make grass with brushes? Great eyes!

Ha! You guys are funny!! On any OTHER site, I might be able to make the grass sway, etc...but on Osity, with a 512K size limit...motion is expensive! Still, for posting elsewhere, I think a more motion-rich version WILL be in the works...Thanks gang for the viewing and comments!

Esatto--no technicolor swaying grass with 512. Indeed, R'osity is lucky anyone who animates posts here at all given the file limits. But there are many great artists here and working against small limits has its uses. Hmmm, I see you've impressed LittleIgby (ECC), who is NOT EAC, and probably even harder to impress than me, and who had a hand, as I mentioned, in one episode of the Ass Wars (donkey and thumb), hehe. Superb job!

Excellent job!! But then your stuff always is. I like Rozanne's suggestion with the film crew. lol!! Those brushes in PS are really nice, they make it easy to to grass, and there ones for leaves as well. He looks very regal!

wow this is super work. For the grass to move you have to do it in each image of the lion at the same time and that would be a lot of work there. but I guess that how Disney did it in his toons
