Description
I went back & revisited my first planet that I created "Torsworld". Its still not as complte as Id like it & I have yet to check some lower altitude shots as I fear I may have some artefact issues.
I`d be grateful if anyone would share in the Mojo forums how to create additional water effects such as foaming shores or tidal debris etc. Ive looked at the library items & dont fully understand it. I think I have the concept of using altitude etc.
Anyway I hope you enjoy this shot:-)

Cool mats and terrain... Maybe Aktati can help with water (not me unfortunately !)

I agree with Oliver..Aktati is the "water queen" of MojoWorld...Cool render anyways..

I like the small touches of green. Blend different water textures with ocean depth to get shore effects. You'll get the idea if you experiment with this. It's limited though because what we really need is shore distance. You can't do this unfortunately.
prutzworks
like the landforms and watertransparency

great shoreline, the green makes a convincing seaweed, and the small rocks and sand are perfect...wish I could help with the water but I struggle with that too

Thx for the advice all :-)

Nice material distribution, W. Very nice. Yep,ask Al. I don
t even try to understand water...
cause it darned slow to render...no time for experimenting with it.woz2002

Nice work on this planet. The rocks in the terrain look very realistic.

I've allways liked the "sharp peaked" landforms on "Torsworld" (though I have'nt visited for a long time)....I could never suss out the "foaming shore" thing myself....do you remember the planet "Shangri La"...it could be worth having a look at to check the "Water" settings....Nice shot Woz!...think I'll have to re-visit myself someday.

I think it is a gorgious and very realist landscape. The details are so impressive.
