Description

I don't know if these are really blossoms, the name just sounded good to me. lol! We found them at an Old graveyard near Deacon, Indiana. I really wish I had macro capability to do these justice, but this one didn't come out too blurry. Hope your weekend was Great! Thanks for looking! Ken

I have seen similar things, and the ones I'm used to are the long yellow ones that are curved upward on the limbs of pine trees. These are beautiful. I've never seen this shape or color before. :o) Excellent capture.

In Oz we have shrubs which has similar cones, called "bottle-brushes", sometimes plants that go a bit pink or purple are deficient in some trace elements. Great capture and frame Ken ~Cheers~ :o)
