There's a lot to like about this picture. Firstly I like the fact that it's not bathed in light. The green light shining through the bottle is a good effect. I like the pose and the amount of things going on. Good use of the room model, the floor works well. I can see shadows are there (beneath the paper on the couch, against the far wall) but I think they need to be turned up a bit. Espeically around the figure. Sort that out and it goes from a great picture to wonderful picture.

the figure in shadow conveys more emotion than it could ever do if it was well lit.the whole mood is quite dark (pardon the pun)but i love the bottles being picked out with light as if to emphasise the problem (alcohol). i love it.

I don't know the song but I have known an acholholic or two over the years and it's scarey how well you've achieved the atmosphere in this scene.True some items seem like the should be casting better shadows, overall though very nicely done! :B eaver !

Superbly done. I agree with above comments with the figure not being lit. Really puts the person's feeling of being in a dark place or despair.

impressive indeed. the only thing i'd change would be the transparency of the bottle on the ground that casts that green glow on the ground. it's too strong imho. otherwise, no comment, great piece! :)

Fantastic mood conveyed here. I love the light going thru the bottles and glass. And the cigarette smoke too. Makes me want to curl up and cry (almost). Great pose. Excellent!
