Description

This is my attempt at a new series, I want to try to push art to get better, and capture a feeling. So I came up with this Idea to do a series called Moods, Moods can be anything that strikes a feeling in someone, so this is a pretty open series. This is the first one in the series, and it is called Sisters. The models were posed in poser and all the rest was painted in photoshop. Photo reference was used for the top girl, the younger sister was totally from my mind......I hope you enjoy this new adventure of mine...........Have A wonderful week ahead....Q

Very touching. This has a lot of feeling in it. Perhaps lay off the black background or ease up on it... suggests a velvet paiting a little too much. Some hint of background to ease up... just my opinion.

Unfortunately I do not recive ebots every time my favorite-arist do upload new images, or other things I should have ebots about. This one is for sure one picture I have not recived an ebot about. I saw it now ehen I looked into your gallery again, and of course I shall comment this masterpiece of work. First of all, congratulation so much for the title "Artist Of The Month" John, I cannot think of anyone who deserves it more than you do! When I commented your latest picture, I think I wrote that I hoped you would get that title, and you did! :) This picture of these two sisters are truly awesome my friend, again my english is not good enough to explain what I want when I look into this lovely picture. You have captured the love and protection between this older and younger sister so incredible well :) The way the older one holds her hands so full of protection around her little sister gives me warm thoughts back to my childhood :) I am blessed with an older sister myself :) Your painting here and the mood in this picture is simply out of words, I cannot find them even how much I want to. This is simply glorious art in every single way! It goes straight to my favorites..as usual ;) ~Love and hugs from Hedda~
