Description

A few days ago, I attended a conference in LA, the ISDC 2006, where we had lunch with Burt Rutan, and some of us (not me) had lunch with Buzz Aldrin. I did get to greet Buzz and Burt later in the hallway. It was loads of fun, heady stuff. Combination of insiders and enthusiasts from all over. I also met bambam131! He was there selling beautiful prints and I bought a CD. In any event, I was walking by and a sign said "Service Elevator", which I naturally misread as "Space Elevator"... and since Ben Shelef and the folks from 'Space Elevator' were there, hmmm. I made this special hand-drawn cartoon. Later I scanned it and cleaned it up. -*- Thanks for viewing!
