Description

Hi everybody! It's so good to be back on Renderosity after a six-month leave. I was working hard on a special project at my son's school, which I finished last Friday - hooray! I haven't had much time to take new pictures, so I'm starting a series of photos from December when we visited Southern California. This is from Huntington Gardens in San Marino. They have a great desert garden, and we found this interesting plant there. This isn't your usual grapevine, nor are these your usual grapes - the sign said not to eat, as they're very poisonous! Hope you're all doing well, and I look forward to visiting with you more this summer. (Yes, those ebots are back on now!)

Don't worry, I'd never eat one of those...the "tree" looks distinclty alien. Besides, those cactus guards probably wouldn't let me get too close... ;o]

What an unusual piece of flora. Why does poisonous have to look so tempting?
