Description

This is a genuine, 100% natural roadrunner. He thinks he owns the whole neighborhood and doesn't like it when any other living thing intrudes on his very big "private" space. He doesn't like to fly, and spends a lot of time running after anything that's not human, but I can tell that he'd like to chase off humans too, if he could.

Excellent! I've never seen a roadrunner in this much detail before somehow I feel they've been mis-represented by the media.

First time for me to see a roadrunner besides on the cartoon. Sounds like a miserable old coot, but at least protective. Nice composition in your shot.

Amazing famous roadrunner ! I do agree with the photography team : this excellent picture deserves its selection in LWitG [ Last Week in the Galleries : http://backroom.renderosity.com/~photo/newweb/last_week_in_galleries/lwig_may15-22_06.html ] Well done, Max ! :~)
