Description

My 2049 Ashkelon terrain made using the expander filter in World Machine. The verticle slopes or pillars is a 100 x 100 BMP of a metal grid tiled at 110 x 130. The stone roofs is a 200 x 200 BMP of a sidewalk, 100 x 120 tile settings. I guess BMP texture files don't have to be huge to be effective. :) Thanks!!

Umm excuse me but this looks real!!! I don't know how you did this but its awesome!!! There's something really creepy about the abandoned feel - they remind me of modern day Egyptian buildings - this is fabulous, I'd like to see more of these.

Outstanding composition good equilibrium for the pov. May I suggest you the use of Photomatix? You can always download a free version of it and see what it can do. In short terms it helps enhancing detail and color range giving more substance to a rendering. Techonology? Well is HDR... know what I mean? If you need detail s on it, besides the fact that Photoshop gives also this HDR enhancement possibility, so if you need further data on Photomatix contact me and I'll be glad to provide all info I have and my experience using both Photoshop and Photomatix

Oh this is definitely a great render and what I like most about it is the terrain! It definitely does look like ancient ruins! I'm very curious about this "World Machine" program and am currently checking out more information about it! This is definitely the kind of program I would like to have so that I can add some interesting - looking terrains - like you did!
