Wait until the war is over And we're both a little older The unknown soldier Breakfast where the news is read Television children fed Unborn living, living, dead Bullet strikes the helmet's head And it's all over For the unknown soldier It's all over For the unknown soldier Lyrics by the Doors. Something completely different from my normal work, but I visited a cementary in the Tsjech republic where a dear friend of mine is buried and as I was walking over the cemetary I was looking at all the graves of soldiers from different nationalities some known, some unknown, who were buried there during WWII. Once enemies and now lying together in peace. It once again made me think about why people fight against each other and the lyrics of the song above came to mind. I tried to capture the feeling I had in a image and this is how it turned out. Thanks for looking and if you have the time leave a little comment, thanks..... A very remarkable image, Ed!!!! It makes me think and it should make us all think!!! How sensless is war!! Awesome work Ed! Very fitting for this past weekend, Memorial Day! The lyrics are so true, even today, and the concept of peace still hasn't reached our own government or many other countries yet!
