Description

"Yeh, sure, right" this is what this lady say to me as I ask her if I can take her photo. She was walking towards me at the time. I was sitting on a chair type thing by the sidewalk. When she told me this I took her photo right then. But she did not know it. I was getting up to take the real photo but she turn and walk across the street. I just watch and say nothing. Was not much of a photo from her backside so I did not take it. Not to say she was bad to look at from the behind but I saw no art in the scence and the layout of the land beyond her. Plus I was tried and my truck was there so I got in the truck and started to drive home but then I saw those dress up people I posted a few days ago. Now you all wonder why I saying all this and why I posted the past week of photos. You noted I ask them all but the dress up people and the artist that was drawing too ; I did not ask. I got diff reactions. That is what I was posting and that is what you get on the street too. I wish I shoot the one that ran away from me and the one that thought I was comeing on to her[ you know make a move or some people say a pass]. It blow my mind when these things happens. Maybe next time I shoot these type of reactions. Wonder if I ran into a undercover cop and they take me in for questions. Wow I hope I can take photos of that action. I take one of my faCE TOO LOL. thanks for looking and reading and comments and votes too.

Your first paragraph says it all Jocko! Though there is an art to planned studio shots...your candid work is taken at that magic moment when you feel it is time. You knew when to snap the shot, framing and motion be damned! And though the moment got away from you, your instinct was accurate!! I am sure had she stood still for another 5 seconds, we would have seen the vision that sparked your initial feeling. How the subject is framed in their environment is crucial, and you were right about your instinct and the assessment. Keep on truckin!!!

you got to be careful of who you take a picture of. a man was at a festival of some sorts in New Mexico and some biddy told the police he was shooting girls and they gave him a hard time until they looked at the pictures in the camera and found it was only crowds captures. they released him but still I bet he wished it had never happened

Come on, Jock, too porky in the face to be worth a shot...True enough, if she'd been interested you could have retouched and got something presentable out of it, but why bother? Throw another party and go with the naked broads and vaseline in the black light....they'll all be famous, yassuh....

I like taking pictures of people in the way you descried too.. Most of the times I delete them instantly, but sometimes a nice portrait is born. That is what this photograph is about too.. It represents the moment you felt the need to take the picture..

There's a man in NYC named Ugly George. He has a cable access adult show. Every time he is going to put on a show, he goes out into the street carrying a backpack camera. He then starts going up to women and asking if they'd like to come back to his home, disrobe, and be the guest on his cable show for that day. 99% of the woman will either ignore him, insult him, slap him, threaten to call the police, or physically attack him. And one woman says "Sure" and they do the show.

You should have taken a picture of her walking away. If her ass is the best part of her personality, then her ass is all I want to see.
