Yes I finally managed Mayday's overlay, albeit in the wrong direction, I promise to correct that though:)

Terrain, surfacing atmosphere and water settings are mine. The overaly is Maydays rippled sand. Terrain created in Geocontrol (finally figured out how to do great islands so bear with me folks. -- lots more on the way)
Postwork: fade correction, blending/smudging of the sky as there were some pointy clouds which distracted the eye. Gamma adjustment a wee bit. Birds, frame and sig in PSP 9.
My deepest thanks to you all for your comments, hints, helps and constant encouragements. It's deeply appreciated.

What a glorious sky! And, glad to see the ripples work out so well - they are nice and smooth as they should be. Their orientation isn't necessarily incorrect when you consider that they are created by the wind - not the water. Beautiful work Patricia; this is a beauty!

Now that's a blazing atmosphere! Remember we talked abot those sand ripples. Funny thing is I just downloaded that file too. I see a couple of jagged edges on the right side where the water meets the sand, you might want to give them a little smudge. It has been a real pleasure watching your work evolve and I am looking foreward to seeing more.

Cool Atmo and Mistifier effect! I think it depends on which way the wind comes through here so the ripple direction is fine. Justr the shadows aren't cooperating with you. :o) Still Really nice work!
