This is really really good, fantastic terrain and concept, but there are just a couple of improvements to make this a masterpiece. That blue layer on top needs to go and the ice shelf in the foreground need some touch up. The texturing needs a little smoothing out and render this big so it comes out crystal clear. I hope this helps and you get a few more tips from people who know more than I do.

The concept is really good. Yes, a smoother surface map, and a white ice should improve it. Try to play with the color of the shadow for the blue reflection rather than with the surface color.
