Description

Hello all ! Found this baby bird today. He tried to fly but landed on the ground no success. SO he just sat there and shook not knowing what to do next . Some people came by to help rescue him from any nearby cats right after I got this shot. Think he is going to an animal rescue place now. Don't think he would have made it long. No Mother in site ...sigh, Sure hope he ( or she) fairs well . Why can some baby birds take off and others not make it ? Hmmm survival of the fittest or kicked out too young?... something I wondered about today ...my heart went out to him!! Did a tad of my smudge painting to help draw it out. Thank you for all your time and comments !! Love to you all! ((( Big Hugs ))) ♥ ~ Kimmers ! :O) ! !

Each time I open one of your images I still marvel at your "thru-the-fame" artistry. You have a special talent not just to see, but to envision. Not many do, and we are blessed to view your work. Thank you, Kimmer.

Oh how appropriate for what I watched today! I spent all the time I could outside watching baby birds. The mother had kicked them out of the nest. Luckily they all survived crossing the road. An excellent shot Kimarie and as always superb smudging!

This is an excellent bird portrait. Fantastic. Looks to be a male sparrow that possibly fell out of the nest or nesting box. Great sharpness and details. Well done.

My heart goes out to every precious one of these babies. I've rescued many a bird and have even hand fed them with an eye-dropper until they are strong enough to fly away. This is an extraordinary shot and presentation. V. :o) CC
