Description

We had rainbows here on two evenings last week! When a rainbow falls directly upon the sea, the fisherfolk in Bay call it a "sundog". I like that name :-) Now, Zacko, please do not search for the pot of gold at the end this one :-) Oh! dear, I heard a splash!! Hope the dear boy has his snorkel!! :o/ But..but...but...sigh. What is it with lepreauchans...leprachans...leppers...ugh...the "not-listed-in-my-stupid-dictionary-fairy-tales-creaturs" and their lucky charms anyway? Are they talking about that pot of gold or are they simply referring to their testicles as all movies suggest? #:o/ Gorgeous photo by the way Di. I thought you lived in Britain....do you really have palmtrees there? Dogs Bollocks thats graaaand!!! Have yourself a merry tuesday and dont sip all the tea at once ya hear. #:oP

Splashing composition! Wonderful how the top left tree stays connected thanks to the rainbow. The bottom landscape is very beautiful, and the sea and the distant cliffs make it gorgeously complete. Seems like you even have a palmtree there...!? Fantastic work, Di! You're really turning into a complete artist!

He he, wonderful capture, who's gonna drag him out of the water!? LOL! Sundogs? That's the optical phenomenon of a light left and right of the sun, not related to rainbows but with halo's around the sun, though? Gorgeous work, Diane, love to see this!

I think this is one of the most beautiful rainbow photos I have ever seen. Just the faintest of a double rainbow there makes it all the more special. Now, what's that clicking noise? Oh, it's just Zacko's teeth chattering after his swim LOL!

Again a double rainbow, great capture. Someone asked me on my rainbow image if I found the pot of gold, personally I believe that the pot of gold is that we are blessed with the promise. When moving from Washington state on the west coast to New York on the east coast, about half way thru the trip we actually drove thru a rainbow that was lying across the highway. It was a magical moment and to me a sign that I was blessed in the move:-) I am off to work now, but I enjoyed my walk thru this part of your gallery, thank you for sharing! I will be back!
