Description

After reading a thread at 3dtapestry I decided it was time for decisions and assess my priorities. As a newly single mum of 2 young teens - they and providing for them has to be my priority. I no longer have the time or energy to run it as some expect it to be run. With sadness in my heart I closed it. It has been a wealth of happiness, fun and friendship for me and I hope for the members too. Mikayla, aswell, who was working on her first ever challenge entry. Now we will work on her neopets guild project together instead. This was almost going to be my last image post here too except some brat went and did something that requires more images from me. For that I thank him - buddy hugs. keep smiling especially when remembering those special times in your lives Chris :o)

I love the eyes and the lips, terrific job! Sorry about Tapestry, but I thought that's what you had mods for was to pick up the slack? It's kinda ironic that just when I'm almost done with what was "expected" of me from college this semester and had time to enter a challenge it gets cut off

I shall not be smiling for a long time to come I think :( Chris I have loved being a part of tapestry with you and will miss it enormously - it has been a part of my every day routine for over 2 years (and for someone that lives alone it has meant a lot)! That said I was astonished by the thread I read today too and am not surprised by your decision at all - only that people can be so thoughtless in their demands upon people who are giving them something for nothing!!! I have a huge hole to fill in my life now - but I will fill it (eventually)! Your friend as always - Steve

If you do stop posting here, then I wish you and your family nothing but the best for you and your family! I for one have loved Tapestry from the first moment I landed there...it's really the reason that kept me going with Poser instead of giving up altogether. I didn't read this thread you speak of. I hope to stay in contact with you, Chris, but I understand your decision and yes, children must come first. Give yourself and your kids a hug from me.-- Kazzy

A truly beautiful image, but it can't replace the emptiness I feel at the loss of Tapestry. It was like another home away from home and I shall miss the wonderful friends I met there.

Never made it to your site I'm afraid, but I do hope that even though you sound busier than you've ever been that you manage a few images from time to time. Love your stuff (even though I don't comment as much as I should) and would hate to see nothing from you. Have fun with the kids and peek in on us from time to time at least. :)

OK - Enough has been said & I'm not going to repeat it all in my comment. I think you know how I felt about Tapestry. But you had better tell Mikayla to finish that challenge entry because I want to see it!! It was her image that started me on my whole Angel series that inspired the challenge in the first place. She owes me at least one entry. Matt :-)

Chris...You do what you have to. But, I for one, wish this had not happened. I know I hadn't been there as much as I used to. But, Sweetie, I haven't been anywhere as much as I used to. I'm not going to get into anything here, but I do want you to know that when I got the letter from Tapestry, something inside went all dark and quiet. Wow. What is left to say? I'm sorry for this happening.

Chris, It truly is sad that 3DT had to shut down. I had only been a member for a short time but was welcomed in to a friendly family who shared a love for the art. The Project will hopefully be kept alive that was started there. Keep up the AWESOME art work that you do. :) Hugs to you.

Chris... I haven't been to 3dt for a while (or played with Poser) and I'm truly saddened for the loss of the site. Its been a wonderful place and I've met some great friends there. My heart goes out to you also for your personal losses and recent tragedies. Best of luck to you and Mikayla... and all that you do. Thank you for all you've done... and for being a great friend. Love you... Kent

3dt was a precious site. Others will be saying goodbye in a lot of ways before you finish your own chapter - you are a special part of this community, the goodness in your soul is a rare thing to find........ C Ya, Hugs Sharyn
