Description

Graphite on paper I put this one up for Anat as she said she would love to live in one of my trees. So you will have to contact me to get the majic words that open the door and then you can moove in as soon as your ready, how's it feel to have a new home Anat. Also on a less serious note my exhibition proposal was approved today by The Sydney Botanical Gardens to allow me to exhibit in The Palm House Gallery on Saturday 24th June for two weeks, if you would like to know more about it please go to our new web site www.whoartthou.com and I will post info as it comes to hand. The Palm House is the oldest glass house in Australia and is in the Sydney Botanical Gardens where I get inspiation for a lot of my trees so I think it is a fitting place to have it. Hope some of you can make it.

Lucky Anat! :) I find this one very beautiful. I can see the sun shining through the leaves and giving wonderful shadows. I always loved that feeling of tiny bits of sun coming through the big mass of leaves and I get that feeling with your tree. Plus it looks soft and inviting... Congratulations on your exhibition, I would be there in a heartbeat if it wasn't a 12 hour plane ride... ;)

Magnificent drawing. It is so welcoming and unique. I agree with louly about the light and shadows. This is particularly pleasing. What fun it would be to climb this tree and see the view from many directions. Excellent work!
