I have just recently discovered my love of photography. I've been taking pictures for years, but it wasn't until the last year or so that I truly began to understand how much I love doing this. I have been so inspired by friends who are photographers, my husband among them. I've always had a strong creative urge, but I've never really found the right vehicle for that urge. The thing that I realized is that I have finally found a way to show the world how I see it.BIOI am a graduate student at the Institute for Transpersonal Psychology. I will complete my master's degree in 2007 and my PhD in 2010. My focus is on spirituality in creative expression, the psychology of death and grieving and the ways in which a sprititual path can lead to integrative wholeness.

I was looking more at the size of the lille pads there huge, we have black swans over here it's funny to see white ones.

Perfect exposure of a high contrast subject. You've captured the ripples just as they reflect the lilly pads circular shape.

What a lovely creature! Living in Malaysia, the only swans I've seen are in the Zoo. I've always loved them, growing up on a diet of fairy tales, "The Swan Princess," "The Ugly Duckling," etc... Thanks for such a lovely break from the routine pictures.

Lovely capture of this swan, they're majestic creatures and some can grow into pretty large animals, yes! Terrific work!
