Photo by Marta Retouch by me ^_^ This is intended to be Roz, short name for Rozalynn Brickman, a character from the books I'm reading, "The Amtrak Wars" by Patrick Tilley. She's the sister of the main character Steven Roosevelt Brickman, and they live in an underground society in a distant future, were the world was shaken by a tremendous nuclear conflict. They are young bloods of the Amtrak Federation, that shields away from the radiactive surface in their underground cities made of technology and mind control made up by the President-General. These underground dwellers, named "Trackers", are at war with the mutants, sort of primitive dumb men deformed by radioactivity, -but immune to its poisonous effect-, that live a free life of hunting and physical vigor, in tune with the reborn nature. The Government of the Amtrak Federation says that it's the mutants who keep poisoning air with their venomous skin and breath, and trains a lot of people to make them surface-soldiers and fight the mutants. Where is the lie, and where is the truth? Who knows? The destiny of Steve and Roz is deeply woven with that of the future of the war, and in particular with the destiny of Cadillac and Clearwater, two rare smooth-boned and intelligent mutants born with a Tracker-like body, a cunning mind and a little bit of earth-magic ^_^ This serie is divided into six books, and I like it very much ^_^
