Puttin' On Old Massah by Gilbert Osofsky is still in print. Or is that his Harlem book, Harlem: The Making of a Ghetto? He was a close friend in some age long gone. He committed suicide by tying a belt to a bedpost and hanging himself till he was unconscious, and then died. Well worth the read, with his other books as well. Know anything about the Zoot Suit Riots in LA, when Mexicans and Mexican-Americans were equated with the Japanese with whom los Estados Unidos was at war? Ol' Man Ribber, he jes' keep rolling....

Fantastic capture, love to see this old stuff! Funny to notice 1792 is that old, Europe's history goes back further and I just try to imagine how it would look when cutting off the history before this. Terrific work, Kort!
