Description

Hello all! Just a little cute dwarf baby bunny we ran across the other day . Thought he was a real cutie .. I was told this one was about a month old. Here is a little info about this soft and sweet little critter !! : ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Dwarf Rabbits Purebred dwarf rabbits weigh 1.5-3.0 lb. Their heads and eyes are disproportionately large with respect to their body, and their ears are small and carried high on the head. Many different colorations make up breeds in dwarf rabbits, such as Himalayan, Red, Siamese, Chinchilla, Blue, and White-tipped Black. Dwarf rabbits were originally bred as pets. Dwarf rabbits have some of the same behavioral traits as other domestic rabbits. But they can be housetrained and can be socialized with dogs and cats. However, they are extremely fragile animals and easily stressed, and do not make good pets for real young children. Like other domestic rabbits, dwarf rabbits consume grasses, grains, and other succulent greens. Their digestive system is somewhat less hardy than their larger cousins, and many leafy vegetables such as lettuce and cabbage can give them health problems. Theses little Rabbits are quite intelligent little bunnies! They can follow voice commands and hand signals, which they learn mostly through repetition. they are one of the most common small animal breeds used by Magicians for their magic acts. This is because they are not only small and smart, but they have the right temperment! They can live up to 8 years ! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Thanks for all your time and comments! Love to you all! ((( Big Hugs ))) ♥ ~ Kimarie ! :O) !

evolution creates some interesting survival tactics: being to small to be worth cooking/eating?

We always had lots of rabbits at my parents' home (sometimes as much as 30), but they were five times as big and heavy as this one LOL. We didn't keep them as pets though, but for food (yes, to eat...). I know they are very fragile. This little one is really cute; it has big eyes, but rabbits can't see very well (no matter how many carrotts you feed them) ;-) Wonderful capture, Kimmers!

Such a cute little animal. I sure hope magicians start thinking of other things to impress their audience than by using - or abusing - lovely little creatures like these. Perfect capture, as always!

Oh my Goodness!! What a cutie!! Bunnies hold a special status around our house. We have them everywhere, well, pictures and ceramics. No pets. We don't need them because there are lots in our backyard! We have a garden and if they get into it, it's okay, we planted plenty to go around. This one is So Cute! Oh I've got to send Brenda here so she can see. Great shot! Thanks!
