Description

Getting back to doing some 2D images. I was watching Bram Stoker's Dracula the other day and was reminded what an amazing actor Gary Oldman is. So I thought I would paint his portrait :) I am trying to get the painted look to my work, Its hard for me to stop adding details to my images. Hopefully I got it right this time :) I didn't do the work in progress images this time. I have felt run down lately and even doing those seemed to take away from the relaxing painting. Ill do them again next time :) Painted in Photoshop with Wacom Intuos 2 Tablet. Thanks for looking and all comments are greatly appreciated :)

Wow!! He is my favorite character from a great story. Those glasses are on my hunting list for real life too lol. But as for your paiting, no one compares! Your work awes me and is always a great pleasure to look at. An inspiration really. The detail in your work never ceases to amaze me. Between the colors you use, the shading, detail and then the ultimate in realistic finishes.....amazing!

Wow......this is absolutely fantastic!! Gary Oldman would be impressed! (And you're right, by the way, he's a marvelous actor, under-used, under-rated, and never receiving the notoriety which is talent warrants). Amazing picture. 5 stars just doesn't seem to be enough....
