it is a nice concept, and entirely possible. 1. get some programs geared more towards animation such as lightwave, blender (only good free 3d program), or Animation master (sorta suckish, but got to admire ease of animation) 2. gather a teem willing to help who are great techies or artists, if they are artists train them to be techies. 3. wright up a skript 4. get some actors. this has been preformed before with blender for completely free (elephants dream project). i bet if you spent the time and put up an add in renderosity you could acomplish this goal and maybe make some money by not using any money on the project and it becoming a blockbuster hit. otherwise, land a job at dreamworks or pixar, wait 30 years to become the head director and go crazy

Oh but there is a 3D animated movie called "Pinocchio 3000" (2004), where famous voice actors such as Whoopy Goldberg and Malcolm McDowell participated in the voice acting, and was directed by Daniel Robichaud. :D
