Description

Here is a little something, I'm currently working on. I'm not satisfied yet, so I consider this an early version of whatever it will finally end up being. I modeled the small vessel with Bryce Booleans. The larger vessel, which has caught the smaller one in a graviton beam, is made up of two different components that I modeled in Rhino years ago. These two components are reflective pairs, which I multi-replicated. The lower layer I rotated differently, after multi-replication. The nebula, and extra stars are 3D props that come from my Exotic Worlds Spacescape Props Vol 1. I used a subtle variant of one of my Really Cranking Techno Mats for the material on the alien vessel, but I feel like it still needs some further tweaking for this model. This is a stage of a work in progress, but I thought I'd share to see what some of you think I might do to improve upon it.

First off let me say, I love your Exotic Worlds Spacescape Props. Your nebula looks great. The small craft lookes good, but the larger vessels seems like it needs some reflection. It looks like it was placed there in post. Even maybe a transparency, to give it that jellyfish look.
