i listen to the music that isn't there i look at nothing but continue to stare i answer the phone that will never ring i open my mouth but mutes cant sing i want to love but i have no heart i need to finish but there wasn't a start i touch around but i cant feel i stick to a contract but there isn't a deal so i try and think but i'm too dumb i try and feel but i'm too numb i try and see but i'm too blind i try and hear but deafness unkind i cannot move, hear, see or feel living in my imagination, the only thing that's real

Conflict and contrast. You got the message across. The only sentence that didn't quite fit is the deafness one. Maybe "I try and hear but ears I don't find"? Just my humble opinion though. Hugs!

thanks for the comments...and with the whole deafness thing its about how deafness is unkind to the person...and its just an emotional jumble on one of those days where you feel alone...im sure we've all had them
