I have a question! When you create your images in Poser and then pull it into your favourite digital program for postwork as a Tiff, do you get rid of the Poser (pz3 or pzz) file after a while?? I have a whole lot of pz3 files from 2004 and I was wondering if I should delete them knowing I won't be creating the same scene again.
Just a thought!!
Thanks for viewing and comments are always appreciated!!
Stay blessed!!

An awesome image hon, looks fantastic, the lighting and pose are superb. Personally, I save all the pz3 files, along with all the psd files and zip em up, then burn them to disc. Call me crazy, I just like the CYA approach, lol.

Excellent image - great character and pose and the composition and lighting is superb!!! I agree with Justmel - zip em up and burn to disk!! You never know when you'll want them again!!

Good question Pat. We poser heads tend to horde. I have them all and like you, I know I'll never use them over. Call us nuts. No wonder our hard drives fill up so easy. lol Now that image, she looks like she's about to kick some serious booty! Excellent image Pat......

Same with Mel, I burn them to CD. I usually create a folder with the title of the piece. In that folder I put all the poser files, tiff files, custom background, etc. This piece is awesome, especially the DOF looks cool. EXCELLENT!
dayna2
I dont save them I build to each work! Beautiful work Dayna xx

I keep mine for about 2 weeks and then delete the ones I don't want, they are huge files and hog disk space, so purging them from time to time is a good idea. Love your depth od field here... excellent scene and render! (V)

i usually delete the pz3 files every now and then to keep my files tidy but that's just me =) this is really cool hon. almost like a tomb raider-ish quality to it with a combination of futuristic, desolation and ancient environment. i am yet to use my skorpio rising. just haven't found the right time for it's use just yet. superb job on this hon...i love it! hugs, Rain

Escellent work!

Great image, hon! I'm in the horder column. I periodically burn them to disk. Main reason I keep them is for testing upgrades in technology, say like a newer version of Poser (I have 4,5, and 6 on the laptop now.....just wait for 7!).

Very nice! Regarding your question: I save everything, the pz3-file, the exported obj, the C4D-file, the rendered psd-files, the postworked file and the final picture presentation. This makes around 300-800 megs for each pic. They are all stored on DVD (5-10 projects on each DVD) and on an external HD.

I don't save anything and constantly wished I did. LOL! This is really awesome Patricia! Brilliant work!

After a while, those pz3 files take up loads of disc space, especially in my case as I've always been a hoarder! lol A lovely piece Pat. I love the surroundings too. Beautifully finished my friend. First class! Maybe I should delete a few pz3s myself. Steve :o) V!

I deleted all my Pz3 files myself, they take too much space on the hard drive, I hardly ever use them again :-) Like Dawn, I also tend to hourde a lot of Poser stuff on my hard drive. Maybe it's time to delete some stuff from my runtime. As for this image, it really is gorgeous, she looks like she is ready to kick some butt!!! Vote!!! Hugsss ^_^

When I created an image, I save ALL, (pz3, psd, obj......), my harddrive is ready to explode but... (lo) - Excelent image Patricia!!!! Hugsssssssssssssss

Totally love this whole scene and you have an incredible flair for lighting :-) As for me and my pz3's, I keep them for awhile, and then I get a wild hair and delete everything...the pz3's, tiff files, psd files...the works. They do take up a tremendous amount of space and unless it's something you plan on creating prints from for sale, it's rather a waste of valuable hardrive space to keep them...but I guess like has been suggested already, you could always burn them to a CD :-)

Impressive realization Patricia....!!! Have a very good POV....!!! Excellent effects of lighting and environment too...!!!
