I would say it's quite safe, unless it topples over. LOL! Depends on the soil type but taking into account that the remaining part of the tree is not very heavy it should be safe. For tasking a chance - I'd rather not!

I think the last time I parked under a tree, it dribbled sap all over my car and ruined the paint job. I'm sure the the birds also wait in ambush! I might hug it, I might even talk to it, but I wouldn't take the chance! ;) Cool pic Richard!

don't forget the roots extend quiet some ways so no worries.. on a side note though looks like a giant's arm holding a tree lol

I was going to say that it looked like the statue of Liberty's outstretched arm actually Richard. I cannot recall ever seeing a tree growing at that angle before. Lovely captures. Well done Sir! Steve :o) V!

By the look of it, it appears some of the limbs were sawed off too. Someone let a sapling grow without staking it! lol Excellent shots Richard...

Now that's a tree! At first I thought one of my quats had mutated. No, I am not even sure I'd seek shade under that tree. Really great photo.Everytime that I see that you've uploaded an image I know I am in for a visual treat. A truly super way to start my day. Thanks!!

My car surely not. But you give me the idea to fix a r"rendez-vous" with my worth enemy ... just there. I'm jocking! Great shots and great find! Wish you a nice WE, G.

I don't think so, especially so if it has been raining quite heavily. Roots can really tear up a yard as the tree goes over after a few days of hard rain. Nope. I'll park around the corner, thanks for asking. LOL!!! HUGS!!
Digimon
