Description

Hello All! I have been wanting to shoot these tigers for a very long time. Problem was at the La Zoo they were to far away from the standing point with my zoom and Nikon 7900 to handle. ( so i thought) I would get so dissapointed everytime I tryed to shoot them and got a grainy blurry result. Finally I went with Georgy and her daughter on a very overcast day. At last I got some shots that turned out. Here my cam is set the the farthest zoom possible. And with Georgy's help and the settings I was delighted to get some results . The cubs have grown since I first saw them in Nov and but they are still so cute and playful . Just have to make sure and get there after thier nap around 1 in the afternoon lol. Here I couldn't just put one shot cause the story wouldn't be told so put together a collage to show the interaction and scolding of the Mother and kiss and make up with the twin cubs. They are a real delight to watch !! I could stand there all day. That day we had to get back so had a short amount of time and I was delighted they were awake and interacting! I met Georgias sweet and beautiful 21 year daughter for the first time , and we went out for a nice lunch after these shots .( - check out Georgys tiger shots of when they were younger in her gallery they are truley amazing captures! ). So it was a special day- a few weeks back!! Enough of my babble now lol Have a great weekend there! Oh yes and one more important thing here ! : ...this one is dedicated to Danny . Aww! They are soooo cute arent they. That has to be the most magnificent animal there is. One day i hope to be able to go on a real african safari and see one out in the wild. Beautiful collage Kimmie. So you went with Georgia huh? Next time you see her, be sure to say hello to her from us. #:O)

Wow, I would kill for these tiger shots! They are MARVELOUS! You captured some very special moments. How affectionate and playful they are. Love the captions, too. I've seen Georgy's pics, too, and they are wonderful. So glad you shared these with us. Like you, I could watch animals, especially the big cats, all day. Vote. :o) CC

Great stuff! Nice storyboard! Sounds like a great time had by all... I would love to be able to go out shooting with someone as talented as Georgy!
