Very happy to have discovered Renerosity! Now between family, pets, cycling, hiking, snowshoeing, enjoying life, Second Life-- I'll have to give up sleep and work! (nasty habits anyway) LOLBIOI live in the Adirondack foothills with my family (now extended), pets, too much photographic equipment and snowshoes in a house once home to a "Titanic" survivor. I work in the environmental field when not otherwise enjoying myself. My goals are to keep doing new things and to surprise more strangers by smiling at them! You may run into me in second life as Snogeez Peregrine, There as SnoGeez, and in real life as Larry Glasheen!

Such thick fog!!! Gorgeous mood captured here. I would have tried to clone out the phone/power-lines though. Have a wonderful day. #:O)

I have missed seeing your work this past week. I've been so busy between work, my ministry, home...and on and one. (Excuses excuses...lol) You are such a professional I hope someday to be as good as you. VOTE!!!! Your friend and fan: Pastor Pat Hackworth

Great mood from this shot. It would be a bitch to do, but I'd be tempeted to photoshop out the powerlines.

Thank you for your kind, constructive comments. I am afraid you created a monster with this one though! I know have 7 more versions from the original, PS'ing the wires out, cropping to incorporate a suggestion from a friend, and adjusting contrast slightly differently....I'd better stop now, my left eyelid is starting to twitch! Much easier than the days of wet chemistry and film in the basement darkroom!I will post the best of these over the next couple of days...I'm too tired to pick tonight (this morning)

Wow that fog really is thick. Beautiful shot. I'll go out on a limb and say it's not always necessary to do away with powerlines. If you're going for a typical "beautiful landscape" here, then yes, the powerlines ruin the tree line. But I say the strength in this shot is it's almost eerie atmosphere. Cold and dark cement in the foreground... thick ominous fog bank rolling in. I beleive it's a dam? If so, then it may be generating electricity. Powerlines? Electricity? I see a connection. Anyways, I personally think if you crop off much of the top, it stands on it's own. Of course, I look forward to your other versions. I'm a sucker for landscapes too!

I really like the softness you've captured in those beautiful green trees rufous. Of course, fog and mist always give such character to a photo too! I kind of agree with Fuzzy that it looks great as is but I also love to play with my photos in PSP. Good luck with selecting one of your new versions... and LOL at the eye twitching! Go to BED! LOL
