Apple blossoms, in Uncle Bill's garden. For My Mum, Gladys Frances Rodgers, who I love so dearly. Mum loves this little verse, she has it inscribed on a stone bird bath in her glorious garden.. "The kiss of the sun for pardon. The song of the birds for mirth. One is nearer to God's heart in a garden, Than anywhere else on Earth". Dorothy Gurney. 1858-1952.
