Description

Turnagain Arm (Outside Anchorage, AK) Nikon d50, Late May 2006 I like to imagine those ripples are some sort of Giant-Man-Eating-Bear-with-a-salmon-for-its-legs come to maul the photographer. I'd shout, "Oh no! It's the Giant-Man-Eating-Bear-with-a-salmon-for-its-legs, come to Maul me for taking-too-many-pictures-of-mountains!*" and try to run but not get very far before Fluffy mauls me to death for my taking-too-many-pictures-of-mountains sins. *I'd have enough time to say all that... because well, lets face it, a bear with salmon for legs can move very fast, can it? I mean, I'd be too busy laughing at it without noticing how sneakily it was advancing upon me until BAM! it's too late! Bears-with-salmon-for-legs are tricky like that... when you least expect it.. *BAM!* they strike!
