Dedicated to a lost friend......she commited suicide; this came to me in a dream I had of her.....her fav room.....

Sorry for your loss DL ,Good and Powerful Image and tribute for her memory. She must of been someone close. Your use of the red color on the seat tells me that is were she sat...Powerful and defined dream .

This is fantastic . . . you managed to put alot of feeling into a fairly small, simple image. I think you have a gift for subtlety, otherwise this would've been either kind of boring or overtly pretentious, but because you're so awesome it's brilliant. I agree with the others above about the chair, it's a nice touch to have a red seat in the middle of a scene that's otherwise almost completely colorless, as it lends alot of character to the image. I'm really sorry about your friend. Every time I read something like that I wish I could say something to cheer up the person who wrote it, but I'm nobody and I'm not wise or spiritual or anything so I can't really help, unless knowing that a complete stranger feels sympathy for you helps at all. You channel your pain through your art so well, at least something good came out of it. Good job.
