Description
This photo was taken at the Arcadia Festival 2005, in Montreal, Quebec. The Event was Nov. 4-5-6.
a short description about this new event is all about gaming, playing new and upcoming games (we were able to play on X-Box 360, Mario Striker and other, at the time, upcoming games there). I felt like it was a mini-E3! :-D
ok to come back in the subject, we were at the Nintendo booth and we were showing our custom-skinned Nintendo DS there, as well as my friend (on the left) was showing his Japanese Limited Edition of ElectroPlankton. His Nintendo DS have a Die Form skin on it (there's more custom skin if you open it, by the way) and mine is a Sakura Wars skin.
We made them by ourselves, the difference is i added a transparent tape on my skin pieces before cutting them, to protect them from bad weathers and colors-fading by sliding the handheld in and out my travel pouch.
the main purpose of this picture is to show our custom-skinned Nintendo DS, but also ElectroPlankton, the Nintendo Booth, our t-shirts (mine is a bit hidden though) and the whole event behind (we can't see a lot of it though).

in reply to Dianthus: this photo unfortunately doesn't come from my digital camera, sorry about the red eyes... Custom-skinned mean there are stickers on it to give it a better look, in this case, i used a full-page white sticker paper i bought in an office supplies store. i used a template available on the web, made my design, printed it in the best resolution i can with my printer, applied transparent tape carefully on the pieces and cut them carefully. i know some peoples just applied some Nintendo or Atari stickers on their handhelds, or bought a cool-looking but not original skin on the web, but i wanted to be original. oh yes, i forgot to mention...the stores that do make and print custom-made skins (from the template) doesn't want to print custom-made skins with logos of companies or games since they don't want to be sued. So that was my only option, to make it, print it and cut the pieces myself. i made a Puyo Pop Fever skin for the Nintendo DS, but i never used it, lol!
