Description
this big loon was following us on the lake, he kept diving under water and popping up for a pic! I think he was getting some tasty fish! Loons are birds that live on New Hampshire Lakes, we saw three loons this trip, one pair and this one, his mate may have been on the nest, :)

This looks so inviting and tranquil looking Wish I were there now...its 90 here could use some of that cool water to splash on me... Beautiful landscape and water.....love the little loon as well...I am having surgery June 21st please keep me in your thoughts and prayers... This gets my Vote Hugs Susan~

Looks Nessy ! Jokes apart, I thinks this bird is similar to the cormoran, when it is full of fish only the head and neck emerges from the water, Here there are plenty ! Great shot Ann !

Cool... New Hampshire is such a beautiful place... I hope to return one day to the tri-states of Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont...
