Description

...somebunny loves you! (Sigh...that's lame,I know, even for me.LOL.) Anyhoo, this past weekend my hubby and I decided to take a little drive out to the north fork of Long Island,or what most call here,Wine Country. As we were driving around, passing vineyards and farms and stuff,I saw these two bunnies sitting by the side of the road.By the time I switched lenses, one had already taken off,but this little guy just stayed there and stared at me. Alright,I know...these are a real yawnfest...but I thought they looked kinda okay together... In the meantime...here's some inane but somewhat interesting questions for you to ponder,so you don't feel like I've totally wasted your time...LOL ;^D ***** Why is there that little space inside strawberries, as if it was meant for a pit, and then the seeds are on the outside? Why do companies offer you "free gifts?" Since when has a gift NOT been free? Why is "number" abbreviated as "no"? When there is no "o" in number? Why is it illegal to put money in other people's parking meters? Why is the name of the phobia for the fear of long words 'Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia'?That's just cruel. Is French kissing in France just called 'kissing'? Have you ever noticed that if you rearranged the letters in mother in law, they come out to 'Woman Hitler'? and my favorite... Why don't you ever see baby pigeons? ***** Okay, now go talk amongst yourselves,lol....Me,I'm going to go park myself in a cool tub of water and lie there like a lox.Our air conditioning broke and I think I'm starting to melt, lol. Thanks for stopping by and any comments you may care to leave.Hope you're all having a most wonderful week. Seeyazzzzzzzzzzzzz! Marlene Ooh! PS-Thank you for all your warm wishes and congrats on my 100th upload.I really appreciated it.Okay.Now I'm really going.LOL.

I actually found that funny, so I'm not sure what that says about me. As for insane comments, there's a new phrase which has found its way into TV adverts over here, along the lines of (take dandruff shampoo as an example) "it gets rid of up to 100% of flakes". Maybe I'm getting old & grumpy but that REALLY, REALLY bugs me. Totally meaningless. If I told my boss I was going to "do up to 100% of what you just asked me to do" he would sack me on the spot!! OK, rant over. I'm going to do up to 100% of the washing up now..... Cheers, Steve.

Great shots of these little critters. Actually this bunny looks kinda fat and healthy. Our wild bunnies around here are kinda small and scrawny.

YES!!! WHY???? Why the hell do you never see baby pigeons??? Thats some deep stuff youve stumbled on right there. Did you ever see "Scary Movie 3"? That debate they have about rats being mice when theyre inside...but if a mouse goes out...does it become a rat? That too is quite deep...#:o/ Oh..and the shot..right. Absolutely ADORABLE!!!! And my God, sooooo impressive as well. I know how easily scared those beast are (which makes me think of the latest Wallace and Gromit-movie...sigh...i better stop watching movies here at work...and actually work huh?). Beautiful shots Marlene, and as always presented with some funny reading. Hope you get to have a lovely week. #:O) ....sorry about the ramble...i am at work after all...and im boooooooooooooooooooooored!!!!!!!!! #:o(....probably explains the abuse of smilies as well...sigh. #:o/

I like the top photo best, great pose from the rabbit. They definitely can be awkward when you point a camera at them. Why don't you ever see baby pigeons? http://www.straightdope.com/classics/a1_015b.html Hmm...I'm not convinced, but at least someone has made some effort to answer.

" Did you just take a picture of me scratching my butt you NYH you???" that's what the rabbit is saying in case you didn't know... He knows you're an NYH also...lol...Do you have room in that tub..it's getting kind of warm here too.... If a rooster layed an egg on top of a roof at noon, what side of the roof will the egg roll down??? Half the roof faces east ..the other half west.. think about that while you soak in that cool tub of water... BTW..Loved your pictures..they would make great Rayburgimals... =)

This is a cute pic, yep it is :o) and loved all your little ponderables LOL...now here's some sage advice for everyone : If you're choking on an ice cube, don't panic. Simply pour a cup of boiling water down your throat and presto. The blockage will be instantly removed. Have a wunderbar day Marlene ! S

Awww, they're so cute! Looks like some bunny loves you! At least enough to sit there and hang out while you changed your lens, so it could get some global exposure through your world-famous photography and live on forever, through a miracle of modern science! LOL. Cute duo-panel presentation of these wascally wabbits Marlene! Heh, heh, heh (in my best Elmer Fudd laugh)! Have a magnificent day my friend!

I think pigeons just mystically POP into existence for maximum annoyance. :) Funny how certain animals can be so cute -- this one for example. I love bunnies and these are two great captures of this one. I had a bunny called Sniffy for a few years ...I know, not a very original name. This reminds me of Sniffy. Thanks for sharing Marlene! (101... ) Better watch out for Ray, it looks like he's gonna try and snag your photos! =]

Despite the photos being very "cute", it reveals a high degree of preparedness and skill, I favour the one making eye contact.

Now this my dear lady earns the most interesting post of the day award. P.S. found the "Woman Hitler" thing most illuminating.
