I'm just a girl with a Nikon D90, who loves taking pictures of just about anything and everything. Postworking my images is 'my thing' .. The main programs I use are: Photoshop CS 5, Corel painter 12. I am currently laid off and seeking employment. I have been in the technical support field for the last 12 years and have really enjoyed the work. Not sure what I want to do now. I think it depends on what is out there and what is available. Competition is tough, there are so many out of work these days.
Anyway! I have been a member at Renderosity since 2004.Â
If you've read this far, I want to thank you for your interest. :) ShariLyn

Your are right, and the dandelion now does not seem to be very unlike a microphone, LOL.

Amaaaaaaazing capture!!! And no, you're not weird, I am: 'cause after I read your title, I thought, "looks like he's trying to romance that stem!" LOLOL!! Love the soft, blurred background, and the delightful tones of this image. This is outstanding.

LoL! Hilarious title...and a great photo!

LOL!!! You should have put this in humor - I can totally see why you titled this... like the dragonfly thinks the dandelion is unconscious or dead and can't understand why it won't talk with him! So, no, you're not weird... Critique huh? But I thought we were all here to pump up our friends' egos until one day when they try to sell their photography and fail utterly they can blame it on being 'Misunderstood Artist Syndrome.' LOL - but seriously, this is superb and the only thing that I worry about in this type of image is that there are some artists here who have some amazing equipment and can really get UNBELIEVABLE quality from the insect macros so my policy is to stay away from them... However, in this case, your image is so funny that it is an exception - great work Shari! +++

Super shot and cute interpretation -- it does look that way. And what is the right word for insect hands/paws/feet?
