Oh, I loved it too. The first season was a little weak, but the second season definitely gave me the impression that this was not a little kids' cartoon. The only thing I'd suggest here is that the scene lighting does not match the position of the sun in the background.

danamongden if you had seen the un-edited vesion you would have realised it wasn't a kids show from the first season on. i watched it as a kid as well back in the early 80's and it still holds fond memories for me. got me into anime before anybody in the US knew what it was.
