Description

Are the farmers getting smaller or the tractors just bigger? (LOL) These mechanical horses sport all the luxuries of a modern family car - plus more!

See my previous post on Bio-Diesel at the NAMPO Trade Show in South Africa.

Thanks for your visit & kind comments.

Superb, Piet! Splendid collage. Love the tiny wee boy :-) The statue is ace, as is the inscription. Top work, it is my belief that tractors are getting bigger ;-) What say you ;-) hugs. Di.

Yes I often wonder as I work in a place making these huge machines if it is really what the worlds needs, or does it need simpler smaller cheaper tractors that would allow small communities to buy one and be able to farm as a cooperative together without the complexity that huge very rich farms utilise with computer controlled giants like these.

Piet, very informative amd well-captured. The sculpture on the right reminds me of the times fof socialism. We used to have lots of similar objects, but the inscription were different.

"Nothing runs like a Deere!" The shot of those two future farmers takes me back to my own childhood, climbing the ag implements on Machinery Hill at our State Fair. Terrific perspective on that John Deere, too!
