Description

Somedays are better than others. We forget we have friends and family that are there for us. We even tend to forget that God is always there. Depression is not a fun thing. It takes a lot of energy from us. Everything we do feels like we are all torn in pieces or even worthless. Hence the name of the image. Although I describe depression to some extent, the image also shows that something holds us together. We have our families who stay by oursides and give us comfort. We have friends who give us strength. And we have a God who loves us unconditonally. This is what keeps us from totally being torn to pieces. I want those who deal with these feelings to know you are not alone. It does not have to be this way. Their are those who love you and those grey clouds will go away (hopefully soon). I would like to say thank you to Lotta-Lagg. You are a dear friend and artist. Thank you for your understanding and friendship. I hope that this image and message makes sense. I hope that you will enjoy too! Have a wonderful weekend!

I looked at the title and feared the worst, however this is not torn. I see the hope, I see the sky and I feel God is with me as you are too. It is awesome!!! Yes depression is a very hard thing to live with day in and day out. Sometimes even the high days are bad because you know you're not right in the mind. Bipolar is a mean disorder and it comes when it wants to and stays with you for what seems like forever. When I get to my worst I tend to forget about God and sometimes find myself asking Him why. Then I snap to it and pray. I think making people aware of the disorder is important. We don't choose to be depressed, it is a chemical imbalance. Meds only help a little. Art and poetry and people like you help so much more. P.S. I had a motorcycle this blue color. I love your image and I love being your friend. Thank you for thinking of me. :) xoxo

We have an awesome God who loves us and will use others, including professionals to help us. I've been there, and I appreciate your sensitivity and wisdom, Beth..not to mention your love for your friend. A beautiful, hope-generating expression- written and visual.
