Description

This is from my recent visit back to Florida. I added the Jupiter Lighthouse for a little more interest. Plus I have a hard time keeping from manipulating these pics...Not the greatest pic in the world, but I liked capturing this pelican in flight. I want everyone to get their butts out of the house this weekend and take some really creative and interesting pics. I know...you're probabaly saying to yourself "screw you fella, I'll do whatever I please"...lol

LOL. I for one will take your advice to heart. As soon as im done leaving this comment my ass will be off the couch and heading out into the woods with Eija. Beautiful inflight capture...thats actually what im aiming for today...although it will probably just be a crow or something seeing how thats the most exotic bird we have here...sigh. Okay!Okay!What a bossy thing you are.LOL.But you're right.I should get out more.It's just that the weather is a virtual stinkfest these days,all you want to do is stay indoors where the AC negates the awful humidity.(Obviously that means I have AC again,lol.)But I promise,I'll think about it.LOL....Adorable pelican,my friend.I must admit,I'm surprised he's 'normal',lol.Have a fabulous weekend and looking forward to your spring fest shots.-TNYHL ;^P

LMAO !!! Boy I sure wish I could do as you say because it would be so nice to be at LG with you and your wife. :-( I love this Pelican. I think it is a wonderful capture !!! You must have a monstrous zoom lens ! Excellent photo and postwork. I dont think I have ever seen a pink lighthouse before. Cool. Have a great day !!!!

You mean this pelican didn't automatically come with this lighthouse??? How in the world you match them so perfectly is a mystery to me! I try to do things like this too but the skys never match and I have the darndest time! This is so excellent ...I'd never know he was flying past the pretty lighthouse if you didn't tell. :-) I would love to go outside and take pictures but it is pouring raining as it seems to have been doing all week here. :-/ I will bring my cam to the baby shower I am going to for a friend..maybe something will catch my eye. :-) Excellent pelican and manip dear Dad! Are you sure it is ok for me to go outside now...I am not grounded anymore? LOLOL ((((Hugs))))) V

Now, I didn't say that!! Would love to be out, but these blasted Electrical Storms play havoc with being outside with camera in hand and running between lightning flashes. Wonderful photo and well presented. HUGS!!!
