Description
This nest was 18 inches high and it's base was 20 inches in diameter. The ant were carrying 1-2 inch stalks of grass and laying them on top of each other. It looked like the ants had raided a store that sold toothpicks.
Closeup, the mandibles look horrifying and lethal.
