Hi all,
Well today I was very lucky and got a Canon EF 100mm Macro Lens. #:D So first of all, as ya can see I kinda suck with it, and secondly I think this is the kinda lens that everyone should have!!!! Ok so enough about the lens! What ya are gonna witness over the next few months is that I'm only getting used to this kind of photography! :S Here is one of the firs photos I took with the new lens. Oh when I mean "one of the first photos" I'm talkin 100 of them just getting the "feel" of this. Thanks for all the help that ya'll have provided me with since I joined this site.... You all really are a great bunch of people!!!

Happy birthday :) Oh and playing with a new toy is what all kids do on their birthday - so nothing wrong with that ;) Personally i think you nailed this shot, but no-one is a harsher critic than oneself i suppose...

This is an absolutly amazing and artistic shot. I must be natural at Macro photography if this is your first set of trial of this kind of work. I love this shot, specially the out of focus background AND foreground, that sort of gives the image a special mood
